Started in 2021 as a house venue in West Philadelphia - a common occurrence in the underground music scene, hosting local and non local bands of all genres of music (the live videos of which can be found on our Youtube). Having organized shows since 2016, I was artistically raised on the philosophy of DIY - art is expression first and foremost, and no monetary or societal cost can stand in the way of your expression.
I began at The University of The Arts in 2019 as a screenwriter. I always had a fascination with making Youtube videos for fun - vlogs, skits, video game let’s plays - but it took me a while to fall into filmmaking as a passion, transferring to a major in film in 2022. I’ve always been a musician first, a writer second, and a filmmaker third. But now I see that they are all one in the same, languages for expression.
My unorthodox upbringing into filmmaking gives me a unique perspective, untainted by bias. I don’t have a favorite filmmaker, I don’t even watch movies all that much. I get inspiration from how Music, or Paintings, or Books, or even Video Games make me feel. I am my own favorite filmmaker.
